How ReBARKable!

Before we get too far into 2022, we’re taking one more moment to celebrate some of our favorite successes from last year!

Here are our top five accomplishments of 2021 (and why we’re so proud of The Seeing Eye community):

1. We matched 142 people
who are blind with Seeing Eye dogs – more than any other guide dog school in North America!
2. 289 puppies were born
at our Breeding Station — congratulations to our 42 mama dogs!
3. 133 pups returned to our campus
from their puppy raising families to begin the next phase of their journeys to becoming Seeing Eye dogs.
4. We collaborated with California’s Guide Dogs for the Blind to create a training video for airline and TSA workers
to learn how to better assist travelers who are blind or visually impaired.
5. We unveiled a bronze sculpture of our retired President, CEO, and graduate James A. Kutsch, Jr., Ph.D.
— now standing in front of the main building at The Seeing Eye campus.

You can help us start building this year’s list of achievements! When you make a gift to The Seeing Eye, 100% of your contribution goes toward our work enhancing the independence and mobility of people who are blind. Thank you for making these successes — and all our work — possible!
