Gabby here! I'm paw-sitively excited to tell you about my favorite reads of 2018! Ok, I won't keep you waiting. Here's the list!

As Last Love Letter to My Friends: Celebrating Dogs and the Joy They Bring Us, by Rick Fisher: Darlings, this beautiful photo book is not only a treat for the soul, it's being sold to benefit several charities, including The Seeing Eye. In fact, $50 from the sale of each book goes to the charity of your choice. So check it out!

Magical Dogs 2: Connecting the Dots, Connecting the Dogs, by Patti Kerr: Of course we're partial to this one because one of our very own graduates has a whole chapter devoted to her and her Seeing Eye dog!

Have Dog, Will Travel, by Stephen Kuusisto: In this lyrical love letter to guide dogs everywhere, a blind poet shares his delightful story of how a guide dog changed his life. Although it's not about a Seeing Eye graduate, we really enjoyed this book!

Dogs with Jobs: Inspirational Tales of the World's Hardest Working Dogs, by Laura Greaves: Discover true stories of some of the world's incredible working dogs, and the extraordinary jobs they undertake.

Canine Confidential: Why Dogs Do What They Do, by Mark Bekoff: What goes on in dogs' heads and hearts - and how much can we know and understand? Written by an award-winning scientist, it not only opens up the world of dog behavior, it is rooted in the most up-to-date science on cognition and emotion.

Tomorrow: A Novel, by Damien Dibben: A wise old dog named Tomorrow travels through the courts and battlefields of Europe and through the centuries in search of the master who granted him immortality. It's historical time and travel fiction on an epic scale.
