I’m delighted to share with you my first video on behalf of The Seeing Eye. But I’m not doing this alone. In the video with me is Spenser, a three-month-old black Labrador retriever. This little guy was born to fulfill a very special destiny: to become a Seeing Eye dog.
Spenser and I are speaking to you from the beautiful lobby at The Seeing Eye campus in Morristown, NJ — specially decorated for the holidays.
It’s hard to believe that I began my journey as The Seeing Eye’s President & CEO right around the time of Spenser’s birth. I’m thrilled and humbled to be here, working with our passionate staff, volunteers, board members — and supporters like you — to transform cute puppies like Spenser into world-class Seeing Eye dogs.
Spenser and I thank you for your continued support to help bring enhanced independence to people who are blind, and we wish you and your loved ones all the joys and blessings of the season.
