Help Ginny become a Seeing Eye dog.

By Glenn Hoagland, President & CEO

Ginny, a German shepherd puppy, lays on her side atop a blanket. Text reads: “Send Ginny to School.”

I hope that you are safe and feeling well during these difficult times. Please allow me to introduce you to one of our newest puppies, a German shepherd named, Ginny. She was one of the last to be born at our Seeing Eye campus before we temporarily suspended our program due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Until it’s safe to return to campus, Ginny is spending her first months of life in the home of Kristin, a volunteer puppy raiser.

I invite you to come along on Ginny’s journey from a fuzzy, cute puppy to a world-class Seeing Eye dog. By making a special donation of $75 or more, you will become part of Ginny’s Fan Club and her extended family.

In exchange for your generosity, you will receive special, detailed E-news updates on Ginny’s progress over the next 12 months.

Although raising Seeing Eye puppies can be fun, it’s a serious commitment too. After all, puppies are puppies — and they need to be house-trained, taught basic commands, and learn not to chew on shoes! But our volunteers will say there’s no prouder moment than to see their “charges” handle every challenge with focus, poise, and precision.

Please make your gift of $75 or more by August 1, 2020, and take part in the miracle that happens when a Seeing Eye dog is matched with someone who is blind.

I look forward to welcoming you to Ginny’s Fan Club!
