As Susan lost more and more of her vision, she felt her independence decreasing along with it. But then she came to The Seeing Eye and was matched with her first dog Logan.
Now, things are different. “I’m basically free to do anything I want to, because I don’t have to worry, I don’t have fear, and now I’m free to live my life. I can go to new places on my own. My dog just guides me, and that’s something I wasn’t really comfortable doing before,” she said.
