Meet our New Kittens!

Nash, a shorthaired cat, sits with its head poking out of a bag; a Dot, a mostly white cat, sits in a cat bed on a shelf above Mo, a mostly black cat, crouched on a windowsill. Both are looking alertly at the camera.

In a note to Seeing Eye staff, Director of Instruction and Training Dave Johnson wrote, "Losing Crosby suddenly was a shock.  Nash was likely the most affected of all.  Initially he stayed in my office and slept all day, but gradually he started making his way out of the office and enjoying the company of humans again. What was abundantly clear was that Crosby and Nash worked as a team in the hallways as they maneuvered amongst the dogs on their way to and from meals."

The new kittens were adopted together from a nearby cat rescue as new companions for Nash.  They are siblings – male and female. There were lots of conversations about what their names should be and it was ultimately decided that they would be called Dorothy and Morris after The Seeing Eye's co-founders, and affectionately referred to as Dot and Mo.

Welcome to The Seeing Eye, Dot and Mo!
