Gran Fondo NJ 2012
Welcome to the virtual headquarters for Gran Fondo Weekend for The Seeing Eye!
Join us for Gran Fondo Weekend, September 8-9, 2012, to participate in the first ever Run 4 The Seeing Eye on Saturday and the second annual Gran Fondo Bike Ride on Sunday. Both of these events are fundraisers for The Seeing Eye with donations going directly to supporting The Seeing Eye’s mission of breeding, raising and training dogs to guide people who are blind. With your help we will reach our goal of raising $150,000 -- enough money to provide a year's worth of food for the hundreds of dogs in The Seeing Eye program.
Run 4 The Seeing Eye
Overview: Run 4 The Seeing Eye offers two events to participate in – a 4-mile run and a 1-mile "Doggy Dash" walk/run. These scenic courses will wind through downtown Morristown and Morris Township. Healthy, well-behaved dogs and puppies (6 months of age and older) are permitted to participate in the 1-mile doggy dash only. All canine participants must be up-to-date on vaccinations and must be on leashes no longer than 6’ at all times. Liability waivers must also be completed by owners.

Ride for The Seeing Eye
Overview: Gran Fondo NJ is a bike ride through Morris and neighboring counties with four routes to choose from: Gran (103 mi.), Medio (63 mi.) Piccolo (43 mi.) and Breve (18 mi.)
