Seeing Eye® Online Auction is Now Open!

Support the National Nonprofit by Bidding through April 13

MORRISTOWN, N.J. - The Seeing Eye ninth annual online auction is now open for bidding with more than 500 items up for grabs.  Among several one-of-a-kind experiences up for bid are feeding the giraffes at the Columbus Zoo, a behind the scenes tour and interactive experience with puppies at The Seeing Eye, and a 2-night stay in Nashville  that includes a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame and a backstage tour of the Grand Ole Opry. Music legend Garth Brooks has donated a guitar and will sign a personalized message for the winning bidder and country music star Chris Young has donated a signed copy of his hand written lyrics for the chart topper, “Gettin’ You Home.”

Auction items include dinner for four at Fowler & Wells in New York City, a day of fly fishing in the Poconos, jewelry, and handbags; gift baskets for dogs and dog lovers; sports tickets and memorabilia; and a variety of accessibility products for people who are blind or visually impaired.

All items in the auction catalog are donated by generous individuals and organizations, and all proceeds from the final sale price of each item go directly to support The Seeing Eye’s mission of enhancing the independence and dignity of people who are blind and visually impaired through the use of Seeing Eye® dogs. All items won by bidders ship for free, except for a select few that must be picked up at the Morristown, N.J. campus. Those items have a special note in their listing.

Established in 1929, The Seeing Eye provides specially bred and trained dogs to guide people who are blind. Seeing Eye® dog users experience greatly enhanced mobility and independence, allowing them to retain their active lifestyles despite blindness. The Seeing Eye is a 501(c)3 non-profit supported by contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations, bequests, and other planned gifts.
