Seeing Eye Celebrates Nashville Roots with Seeing Eye Country Category

MORRISTOWN, N.J. - The Seeing Eye 10th annual online auction is now open for bidding with more than 500 items up for grabs.  The Seeing Eye honors its Nashville roots, where it was founded in 1929, with a category filled with Nashville experiences and autographed items from country music stars such as Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, and Carrie Underwood. Bid on a party in the home of legendary songwriter Kent Blazy, or a meet and greet backstage with Lady Antebellum and Darius Rucker.

Additional auction items include feeding giraffes at the Columbus Zoo, a day of fly fishing in the Poconos, jewelry, handbags, gift baskets for dogs and dog lovers, sports tickets and memorabilia, and a variety of accessibility products for people who are blind or visually impaired. Visit www.BiddingForGood.com/SeeingEye for more information about the auction.

All items in the auction catalog are donated by generous individuals and organizations, and all proceeds from the final sale price of each item go directly to support The Seeing Eye’s mission of enhancing the independence and dignity of people who are blind and visually impaired through the use of Seeing Eye® dogs. All items won by bidders ship for free, except for a select few that must be picked up at the Morristown, N.J. campus. Those items have a special note in their listing.

Established in 1929, The Seeing Eye provides specially bred and trained dogs to guide people who are blind. Seeing Eye® dog users experience greatly enhanced mobility and independence, allowing them to retain their active lifestyles despite blindness. The Seeing Eye is a 501(c)3 non-profit supported by contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations, bequests, and other planned gifts.
