The Seeing Eye® 90th Anniversary Auction Open Now through April 18

With 600+ Items, 11th Annual Charity Auction Boasts Largest Catalog

MORRISTOWN, N.J. - The Seeing Eye 11th annual online auction is now open for bidding with more than 600 items up for grabs, making it the largest catalog in The Seeing Eye’s history.

In honor of its 90th anniversary, The Seeing Eye honors its Nashville roots, where it was founded in 1929. The “Seeing Eye Country” category includes a guitar that will be personalized for the winning bidder by Garth Brooks, autographed cookbooks from Trisha Yearwood, and a private concert for the winning bidder and 20 friends with legendary songwriter Kent Blazy.

Included in the auction is a highly anticipated behind the scenes tour of the Bronx Zoo, where Animal Planet’s hit show, The Zoo, is filmed. Additional auction items include a day of fly fishing in the Poconos, jewelry, handbags, gift baskets for dogs and dog lovers, sports tickets and memorabilia, and a variety of accessibility products for people who are blind or visually impaired. All items in the auction catalog are donated by generous individuals and organizations, and all proceeds from the final sale price of each item go directly to support The Seeing Eye’s mission of enhancing the independence and dignity of people who are blind and visually impaired through the use of Seeing Eye® dogs. All items won by bidders ship for free, except for a select few that must be picked up at the Morristown, N.J. campus. Those items have a special note in their listing.

Established in 1929, The Seeing Eye provides specially bred and trained dogs to guide people who are blind.
