April 9 COVID-19 Update

I am pleased to report that our staff and volunteers have assisted us in moving all dogs out of the Washington Valley kennels and into foster homes. This greatly reduces the number of employees required to be at the Washington Valley campus. Those staff who still are working on campus are observing social distance and taking other necessary precautions.
The Seeing Eye has donated sorely needed personal protection equipment (PPE), including masks, face shields, gowns, and other clothing, to healthcare organizations. We’re grateful to staff members and friends, who have donated dozens of homemade surgical masks for our own use.
We are continuing to closely monitor local, state, and federal guidelines as we eagerly await a return to normal operations.
