Come Join Us: The Seeing Eye’s 90th Anniversary Celebration & Graduate Reunion!
In celebration of The Seeing Eye’s Ninetieth Anniversary, we are hosting a graduate reunion on Friday, August 23, through Sunday, August 25, at The Hyatt Regency Morristown in New Jersey. Come join us as we celebrate this important milestone in The Seeing Eye’s history.
Hotel Reservations
The Hyatt Regency Morristown at Headquarters Plaza is located at 3 Speedwell Avenue in Morristown, New Jersey, 07960. Room rates are $139 per night for single or double occupancy. Triple occupancy is $164 per night, and quad occupancy is $189 per night. There will be an additional charge of 15% for taxes. To make reservations, call 973-647-1234. Be sure to mention that you are with The Seeing Eye. (Room rates are for Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday night.)

Transportation Guide
The following transportation options have been compiled to help you plan your trip to Morristown. If you’re coming in by plane, be sure to check out Tips for Traveling by Air with a Guide Dog.
Air Travel
Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is the closest airport to Morristown.
Indoor Service Animal Relief Area Locations
Terminal A: Post-security in all 3 satellites, between the men's and women's restrooms
Terminal B: B-1 connector next to the Delta Air Lines lounge, B2 post-security near gate 57, B3 post-security between gates 65 and 66, and in the U.S. Customs and Immigration upper level area.
Terminal C: C-3 satellite next to gate 131.
Outdoor Service Animal Relief Area Locations
- Terminal A: Level 1 at grassy area before the parking lot.
- Terminal B: Level 2 at grassy area outside Door 9.
- Terminal C: Level 2 at grassy area outside Door 1.
Amtrak Train
Coming in to New Jersey by an Amtrak Train? Head to Newark Penn Station (NWK) at 1 Raymond Plaza West, Newark, NJ 07102.
Ground Transportation
The Newark airport and Newark Penn Station are both about 25 miles from Morristown. Under normal traffic conditions, it takes about 40 minutes to get to the hotel.
Car Service to and from Airport

This upscale car service is offering a $68 flat rate including tip, for up to 2 passengers per vehicle. For an additional $11 fee, the driver will meet you inside the terminal. Advance reservations are required. When making reservations, be sure to mention The Seeing Eye reunion to get this special rate.
Rideshare Options
Arrangements have been made with an upscale car service to offer a rideshare option for graduates traveling alone with their dogs to the reunion. The service is offering a flat rate of $38 per person (including tip) for a shared ride. Every attempt will be made to coordinate flight times in order to limit wait times for all reunion passengers. The driver will meet you inside the terminal. Advance reservations and payment are required. To get more details, or to arrange a ride, please contact reunion@seeingeye.org.
For Uber or Lyft, just go to the Passenger pickup and Ground Transportation area, typically located outside the exit doors right near the baggage carousels. The estimated rates from Morristown to Newark airport are currently between $40 and $55, depending on time of day/night. Just be sure to request your ride once you are at the pickup point and not before.
GoGoGrandparent is a similar option but you don’t need a smartphone, a regular cell phone will do. Simply call 855-464-6872 in advance of your trip to get registered. You will be required to provide a $20 deposit on your debit or credit card which will be used toward your first ride. As part of its service, an agent will monitor your trip and intervene on your behalf if necessary. The pricing is similar to Uber and Lyft but there is an additional service charge of 27 cents a minute per trip (about $11 or more to the hotel).
ADA Paratransit
New Jersey’s ADA paratransit program is called Access Link. If you are already certified for this service in your own state, simply call 800-955-2321 to request visitor status while you are in New Jersey. All requests should be made at least two weeks in advance.
