I love when folks have questions about how a cute, fuzzy puppy becomes an expertly trained Seeing Eye® dog like me. After all, what we do — helping someone who is blind navigate the world with enhanced confidence, freedom, independence, and mobility — is pretty pawsome, if I say so myself!

Carlos was matched with his Seeing Eye dog, Fenway, the summer he left his home in Wisconsin to study economics at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

In honor of its 90th anniversary, The Seeing Eye recently invited graduates back to Morristown, N.J. for a weekend dedicated to the Seeing Eye family.
